tl;dr: [https://treesfrog.vercel.app]

I'm taking Intro to Journalism (JRNL1101) this fall, and it has a co-requisite class, Journalist's Toolbox (JRNL1102). Whereas the bulk of the writing will happen in the journalism class, in toolbox we'll focus on photo, audio, video, data visualization skills, and other journalistic tools. As part of Assignment 1, we've been instructed to create a blog on Wordpress, though my professor specified that it didn't have to be on Wordpress in particular.

So I, being the computer science major that I am, decided to create my own site for hosting the journalistic content I'll be publishing. I've built it with my favorite 11ty and some other features I like to have, such as adaptive image rendering and layouts. It's also got a cute tree frog favicon. Beyond that, I've stuck to clean, minimal CSS. I've chosen to display all posts with full content in reverse chronological order (most recent at the top) for a minimal menu. Honestly, it looks cleaner than this site, though this one's got more things going on. It's deployed on Vercel at treesfrog.vercel.app.

I'll be updating it through the semester and perhaps beyond. Check it out!
